Customer Need

The customer had an early product direction but needed the plate, bowl, cup and spoon to feel like one collection. Suction performance, wall thickness, grip, cleaning access and packaging dimensions all had to be confirmed before tooling.

Engineering Approach

Our team reviewed the intended age group and use scenario, refined the product structure in 3D, selected suitable platinum-cured silicone hardness and prepared prototype samples. Pantone references, logo placement and packaging fit were approved together so the product and box could develop on the same schedule.

The artwork was converted into manufacturable 3D cavity geometry. We reviewed draft, spacing, tray stiffness, fill level and release direction, then sampled the design in food-grade silicone before approving the metal mold and retail sleeve dimensions.
